Over the past decade we have become a nation of cell phone users, second only to Europe. More than 85 million Americans use a cell phone on daily basis. A large percentage of homes have now disconnected their land lines and only use cell and portable phones. Not getting a good night’s sleep?

Genetically engineered food: Are we playing Russian roulette with our future?

In the mid 1970s scientists discovered they could transfer genes from the DNA of one species into another species - a discovery that was originally heralded as a major scientific breakthrough. Some of the strange but interesting discoveries included creating frost-free tomatoes from a gene from an Arctic fish, pig noses that glow in the dark from a jellyfish gene, and round-up ready crops.
